In San Jose, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across California, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. First time trying a Vietnamese drink. I forgot which drink I got, but I personally didn’t like it because of sweet it was. Personal preference though. There was a very large variety of drinks. Pandan waffles were yummy.

I've wanting to visit this store, specializing in Vietnamese desserts, for a while and I finally got to see (taste?) what the hype was. My SIL and I tried a hot dessert (Hoi An Imperial), a cold dessert (Ha Noi Mist), and the pandan waffle with a side of coconut cream. You can taste and appreciate the level of pride and care the owners took to curate the dishes as everything is made on site. The pandan jelly is especially my favorite. What I appreciate most is that the desserts took me back to my childhood, growing up in Singapore as there were so many similar notes to the desserts of my childhood. Don't bother counting your calories when tasting and enjoying the dessert(s), but rather, sacrifice that day's meals so you can enjoy. I'll be revisiting this place soon to try the other dessert offerings.

Visiting from out of town, craving for some Viet coffee. Saw this place on google and wanted to give them a try. Coffee 8/10 Dessert 10/10 Coffee is delicious, but I’ve had better. Great texture and taste, however, I felt the coffee flavor was a too mild. I got 25% sweet as I wanted to fast more of the coffee, but was still too mild. That’s an individual preference. I’m sure the owner could have adjusted if asked. My first time here and she was very accommodating. The dessert/che was an absolute winner! Portion is huge. Enough to share. I got the β€œPhu Quoc Paradise”, which is taro, sticky rice, and coconut milk. Taste and texture was perfect in my book. Not overly sweet, which is how I like it! So many other items on the menu I would love to try next time in town.

I visited a Vietnamese dessert and coffee shop in San Jose recently, and it was quite an interesting experience. To reach the shop, you have to take a few steps up a staircase; I'm not certain if there's a ramp available for those who need it. The interior decoration is very appealing, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is straightforward and the ordering process is simple. However, the challenge was in choosing the right dessert, as we visited in the morning and weren't quite ready for a dessert tasting flight. We decided on the Coconut Cloud, Pandan Waffle, and Saigon Pearl. Both the Coconut Cloud and Saigon Pearl were delightful. The Pandan Waffle was also enjoyable, with a chewy texture that seemed to include tapioca. Overall, it was a good visit, though I found the prices to be a bit on the high side.

Interesting treats, I liked how the regular Vietnamese desserts are showcased in a fancier elevated manner. Of course it's about $9 for an average drink, but folks are lined up regardless, since it's pretty good. I ordered my drinks with less sugar and no sugar, less ice, and all I could taste is the grass jelly, not too much flavor. The Crème Brûlée custard was decadent, however the lack of sugar on top, made for a poor shatter, and held back the crunch and texture seesaw of creamy and rich, with crunchy and caramelized. The Coconut Milk Cream had Pandan Dumplings with Taro stuffed inside, and I enjoyed this on every much on this cold winter evening. My Favorite was the Pandan Waffle w/ Creamy Coconut Dipping sauce, with small fresh coconut pieces inside. The chewy rice flour batter that took the texture game to a whole new level, and I enjoyed it very much
